April Broska (New Boston, MI) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the week of Nov. 12-18.

Broska led the Cougar women in scoring in their opening two games against Luther College and Cornell College. She shot a combined 7-12 (.583) from the field for 22 points including a game-high 13 against Cornell. Broska also pulled down six rebounds in the contest against Luther.

Broska, the daughter of Jody and Lesa Nielsen, is a 2010 graduate of Lutheran High School South in Newport, Mich. She is a junior law and justice major.
