Taylor Golden (Chicago, IL) of the softball team is honored for the week of March 19-25.

Golden batted .333 (5-15) and scored five runs in the Cougars’ six games last week. The third baseman also walked five times and recorded an on-base percentage of .500. For the season, Golden is batting a team-high .375 in 14 games and leads the Cougars in runs (14), RBIs (11) and on-base percentage (.565).

Golden, the daughter of Ron and Kim Golden, is a 2010 graduate of Trinity High School in River Forest, Ill. She is a sophomore marketing major.
