Concordia University Chicago Athletics

Cam Stephens (Rosemont, IL) of the baseball team is honored for the week of March 12-18.

Stephens hit .667 (8-12) in Concordia’s three games at the Rose-Hulman Invitational March 17-18. He recorded three hits in games against Alma College and Illinois Wesleyan University, and two hits against Rose-Hulman Institute. Stephens scored five runs including three in the 18-5 win over Rose-Hulman. For the season, the designated hitter leads the team with a .477 batting average through 11 games (44 at-bats).

Stephens, the son of Scott and Karen Stephens, is a 2008 graduate of East Leyden High School in Franklin Park. He is a senior secondary education/physical education major.
