Danyale Worsham (Downers Grove, Ill.) of the women’s indoor track team is honored for the week of Nov. 28-Dec. 4.
           
Worsham competed in the 60 and 200-meter dashes at the Dec. 3 Illinois State University Early Bird Invite. She finished 13^th out of 40 runners (many Division I athletes) in the 60 with a time of 8.30 seconds and 12th of 34 runners in the 200 with a 27.88. Both marks were career-bests for Worsham, and the latter put her within .17 seconds of the school’s indoor record.

Worsham, the daughter of Francitia Chilton, is a 2010 graduate of Lisle High School in Lisle, Ill. She is a sophomore psychology major.
