Kim Kistler

Kim Kistler returns to Concordia-Chicago for her second stint as an assistant athletic trainer. Previously, Kistler assisted the CUC staff and worked with Cougar student-athletes as a contracted athletic trainer through Athletico from 2007 to 2014.

A 2000 graduate of New Mexico State University, Kistler holds a bachelor of science in athletic training education. She was a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the softball program at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX before returning to NMSU as an intern athletic trainer in 2001. While there, she worked with football, women's basketball, volleyball and softball. From 2003 to 2006, She served as an assistant athletic trainer for Macaletser College in St. Paul, MN. While at Macalester, Kistler worked with men's and women's soccer, men's basketball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's track and field.

Kistler also served an internship with the Seattle Sounders professional soccer team. 

Kistler completed her Master's in education in 2006 at the University of Minnesota. She earned an MS in health care administration and management in 2014 from St. Joseph's University of Philadelphia, PA in 2014 and is currently looking to complete a Master's in bioethics and medical ethics from Loyola University in Chicago, IL in 2020. Kistler has been a certified athletic trainer since 2001, holds a performance enhancement specialization through the NASM and is an American Heart Association CPR/AED instructor.
