Megan McLaughlin

Megan McLaughlin joined the Concordia University Chicago staff in August 2015 as a contracted athletic trainer. In September 2017, Megan became an official member of the Concordia University Chicago staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Megan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Lewis University (Romeoville, IL) in 2012. She served as a student athletic trainer for various schools such as Hinsdale Central, Hinsdale South, and Lockport high school. Megan was also a medical volunteer for a number of years at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

During her undergraduate work at Lewis University, Megan was the first intern from Lewis to be at Concordia University Chicago.  While at CUC Megan worked with baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, and track and field.

Upon graduating, Megan began working for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida where she worked with youth, international, pre-draft, and professional athletes. Megan then joined Athletico Physical Therapy to specifically work at Concordia University Chicago. Megan is also a CUC alumni, having received her MA in Organizational Leadership in 2019.

Megan is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association. She is a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Illinois by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation as well as an NATABOC certified athletic trainer. She is certified in CPR/First Aid and is a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist. 

Megan currently resides in Melrose Park with her husband Steve.
