Abigail Leers became the graduate assistant women's Lacrosse coach at Concordia-Chicago in the spring of 2020.
A resident of Barrington, Illinois, Leers was a part of a dynamic team at North Central College where she split the time in cage with other goalies all four years. She led her time at NCC with compassion and always put the team's needs first. As a goalie and defender, Leers assisted her team in appearing at four CCIW conference tournaments and competing for two conference championships. During her senior season, she was a captain for the Cardinals.
Leers has worked with a multitude of lacrosse teams with all varying skill levels and ages. Some of her coaching experience includes coaching Cardinal Camps with North Central Women's Lacrosse, coaching clinics at New Wave for beginners, coaching at Elmhurst College as an assistant for the fall of 2019, and coaching for True Lacrosse.
Leers received her bachelor's degree in Psychology while receiving an endorsement in sociology and coaching. She is currently working towards her master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in sport management at CUC.
