Julie Jenkins has been an assistant coach with the Concordia University Chicago women's basketball program since the summer of 2020.
First as a graduate assistant and then stepping into the full-time role, Jenkins has been a part of two NACC Tournament appearance teams. She has dedicated her time to helping coach the Cougar women's basketball team and assisting in various other roles such as recruiting.
Jenkins graduated from Concordia Chicago in May of 2020 with a major in Sports Management. Jenkins spent her collegiate career as a student manager for both the football and women's basketball teams. She was promoted to the Student Director of Basketball operations her senior year before accepting her new position.Â
She is originally from North Ridgeville, Ohio. She is the daughter of Jackie Jenkins and is one of all girl triplets. Julie graduated in 2016 from Lutheran West High School in Rocky River, Ohio. She played soccer, basketball and threw shot/discus for the track and field team. In 2014, Julie started working with the athletic department as manager of different sports teams which included Softball, Soccer, Women’s Basketball and Football. In 2016, Julie received the State Award from the OHSAA for outstanding athletic service and was respected by all for her service and hard work. She participated in FCA while in high school and was a part of the FCA leadership team here at CUC.
