Sydney Paulauskis-Lauher joined the Cougar softball coaching staff in 2024.
Paulauskis-Lauher played four seasons with the Cougars from 2019-2022 playing primarily at first base, but seeing field time inside the pitching circle and in the outfield. She made 114 career appearances in the maroon and gold with 413 total putouts, 77 hits and 33 RBIs with nine career doubles.
Since graduating from CUC, Paulauskis-Lauher went on to work in the Athletic Communications Department for two years while also serving as a volunteer coach with the Cougar softball team. Additionally, she has coached with various travel organizations over the past seven years in both the Chicagoland and Central Illinois area.
Sydney earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Concordia Chicago in the summer of 2022 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in sports leadership.
