Rebecca Delahunty

Rebecca Delahunty is currently in her first year as the assistant athletic trainer here at Concordia University Chicago. She brings a great deal of experience into this role.

Most recently, Delahunty served as an athletic trainer at Lake Forest High School. She was positioned at this school through her job at Athletico. While there, Delahunty worked with all of the sports the high school had to offer. Not only did she manage the treatment of injuries, but she worked with the teams on injury prevention.

Prior to her time at Lake Forest and Athletico, she completed her clinical rotation at Daemen College in Buffalo, N.Y. During her time at the Division II institution, she worked primarily with women's basketball, women's soccer and men's and women's tennis. She also worked with the football team at Buffalo State College, the indoor and outdoor track and field teams at the University of Buffalo, and most of the JV and varsity sports at Niagara Falls High School.

Currently, Delahunty is a member of the NPI, the National Athletic Trainer's Association, the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association and the Illinois Athletic Trainers' Association.

She received her bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her master's degree in athletic training from Daemen College. She currently resides in Chicago.Â
