Seve Loubriel has been a key member of the Concordia University Chicago football coaching staff since the fall of 2019.

As an assistant coach, he primarily oversees the development of the Cougars' special teams and defensive backs. He also serves as the program's Recruiting Coordinator, leading efforts to scout and secure future talent for the Cougar roster.

Promoted to full-time assistant in 2021, Loubriel previously spent two seasons as a graduate assistant and began his coaching career as a student assistant during his senior year at CUC.

Under his guidance, the special teams unit has achieved notable success. In 2022, he coached Ryan Auer to earn NACC Special Teams Player of the Week and D3Football.com Special Teams Player of the Week. During the 2024 season, CUC finished first in the NACC in total kickoff return yards and ranked fourth in the conference in field goal percentage, demonstrating consistent improvement and performance under Loubriel's leadership. 

As a former player, Loubriel appeared in 16 games as a wide receiver and special teams contributor. He was a part of the 2012 Cougar squad that went undefeated int he regular season (10-0) and secured the program's first-ever NCAA Division III playoff appearance. 

Loubriel earned his bachelor's degree in Accounting from CUC in 2015. His long standing connection to the program and continued contributions on and off the field make him a vital part of the Cougar football staff.Â
