Kyle Whitman joins the CUC football coaching staff in 2016 as the coach of the Cougars' running backs.
Whitman comes to CUC from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville where he played at running back from 2013-16. He ran for 920 yards on 222 career carries with 12 touchdowns, and his career highlight came in a 202-yard game with two touchdowns against UW-Eau Claire on Nov. 7, 2015.Â
Off the field, Whitman has sampled football-related activities on a number of levels. While at UW - Platteville. Whitman was a student strength and conditioning coach, a fitness laboratory specialist, a sports performance trainer and a football recruiting assistant. Whitman has also served as a volunteer football coach at Grant High School in Fox Lake, IL and, most recently, as a sports performance intern at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Â
Whitman earned his BS in health and human performance from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville in 2018.
