Jacob Vellucci is in his second year as a graduate assistant coach for the CUC football program. He will coach the Cougars' defensive backs.
Vellucci was a four-year member and three-year letter winner for the College of Wooster (OH) football team from 2012 to 2015.He played mainly linebacker and special teams, working his way up to a starting assignment in his senor year when he finished fifth on the team in tackles.
A football instructor as early at 2008 when he assisted in football camps at Jackson High School in Massillon, OH, Vellucci served as a football assistant in 2016 at Luther North College Prep in Chicago, IL and in 2017 at Guerin College Prep in River Grove, IL.Â
An English major with a minor in education, Vellucci earned his BA from the College of Wooster in 2016, He is currently teaching middle-school language arts at CICS Prairie School on the south side of Chicago.
