Junior (2019): Indoors, ran a career-best 2:03.44 in the 800 to finish fifth at Ripon's Dick Hendricks Invitational...Placed third in the 400 with a 53.61 at the University of Chicago's Phoenix Invitational...Outdoors, finished fourth in the 400 (52.26) at the Cougar Invitational...Helped 4 x 400 relay team to second place (3:24.14) at the NACC Championships.

Sophomore (2018): Indoors, helped 4 x 400 relay to second place (3:36.88) at the Margaret Bradley Invitational... Outdoors, part of the distance medley relay team that placed second at the Benedictine Invitational with an 11:27.56.

Freshman (2017): Indoors, posted career-best marks at the UW-Parkside Ranger Opener in the 55-meter dash (7.41) and the long jump (18 ' 2 1/4"), finishing in eight place in the latter...Outdoors, won the 400 meters at the Benedictine University NCAA Challnge with a time of 50.53 seconds.  

High School: Attended St. Joseph H.S. in Westchester, IL

Personal: Son of Sheila Casteel and Donald Payne...His hobbies include reading, eating at Ramen Ichiraku and getting buckets, and drinking water.
