WHEATON, Ill. – The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's cross country was back in action tonight after a week off. The team competed at the Gil Dodds Invite, hosted by Wheaton College. The Cougars showed grit and finished 14
th of 19 teams.
The RUN-Down
Gael Arroyo (Cicero, Ill.) paced the Cougars, finishing 39
th overall and setting a personal best time of 26:51.5. This beats his previous personal best by just over two minutes.
Nathaniel Boksa (Norridge, Ill.) came in next with a time of 28:45.6. The next two Cougars over the finish line were
Julien Saltos (Chicago, Ill.) and
Dominic Carlson (Loves Park, Ill.). Saltos set a personal best of 29:39.7 while Carlson ran a 29:54.9. Rounding out the top five was
Cosby Lux (Landgrove, Vt.) with a personal best time of 31.44.9.
Camari Edwards (Milwaukee, Wis.) and
Cameron Mitchell (Racine, Wis.) also both picked up personal bests of 31.52.8 and 33:18.7, respectively.
