Orlando, Fla. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's tennis team capped off their spring break trip against Trine University. After some good attempts, the Cougars ultimately fell 7-0.
 
Doubles

• The No. 1 doubles duo, Amelia Engleman (McKinney, Texas) and Amirah Shakir (Dekalb, Ill.), tried their best, but took a loss, 6-0.
• In the No. 2 doubles match, Kathleen Castillo (Elmwood Park, Ill.) and Hannah Upole (Hinkley, Ohio) put up a great effort but unfortunately fell 6-0.
• Courtneye Schneider (Plainfield, Ill.) and Aura Cortez-Cali (Berwyn, Ill.) had perseverance, but the No. 3 doubles duo also fell 6-0.

 
Singles

• The Cougars were swept by Trine in all singles matches.
• Engleman took a loss in her first set, 6-0. She won one game in the following set, but ultimately fell 6-1, in the No. 1 singles match.
• In the No. 2 singles match, Shakir showed resilience, but fell in the first set, 6-1. In the following set, Shakir lost 6-0.
• Castillo tried hard in her No. 3 singles match, losing the first set 6-1, before handing the match over in the second set, 6-0.
