Jackson, Wis. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's tennis team went on the road this morning to the Pleasant Valley Tennis and Fitness Club to face the Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC) Warriors. After a long fight, the Cougars were able to sweep a win against the Warriors 5-2.
 
Doubles

• In the No. 1 doubles match, Andres Villagran (El Paso, Texas) and Sam Smith (Munster, Ind.) won their match 6-2.
• In the No. 2 doubles match, August Barnes (Sodus, Mich.) and Collin Dickey (Frisco, Texas) put up a good fight, but ultimately fell 7-6.
• In the No. 3 doubles match, Kyle Pelzek (Hales Corner, Wis.) and Kevin Bullens (River Forest, Ill.) won their match 6-1, securing the doubles point for the Cougars.

 
Singles

• The Cougars dominated over the Warriors, winning four out of the six matches.
• Dickey pulled a win for No. 1 singles dominating both sets 6-4, 6-2.
• Both Barnes and Smith dominated both of their sets, beating their opponents 6-1, 6-2 in both their matches at No. 6 and No. 4 singles, respectively.
• Bullens also got a win over his opponent, crushing his No. 5 singles match, 6-0, 6-2.
