Madison Wis. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) Cougar's men's basketball team hit the road to Madison, Wisconsin for another Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) game versus the Eagles of Edgewood University. Battling until the very end, the Cougars defeated the Eagles by three points with an ending score of 62-59.

First Half
The Eagles opened the game by scoring a free throw, but Yangoua responded quickly with a free throw to tie the score up in opening possessions, 1-1. At the beginning of the first half, both teams exchanged basket for basket with a tie score of 8-8 until the Eagles found themselves drawing a foul and successfully hitting both free throws, leading by two. The Cougars matched the Eagle's energy, with Johnson connecting to Brown for a layup, 10-10. Followed by strong Cougar defense by Brown, creating his own opportunity at the free throw line, adding two points to take the lead. After a media timeout on the floor, the Eagles took advantage and knocked down a three-pointer followed by Johnson adding a layup for the Cougars. The Eagles hit a slam dunk and layup, stealing the lead by three, 17-14. With a Cougar timeout, Guthrie made his presence known by making a shot, narrowing the Eagles lead by one. With just below nine minutes to go in the half, Robinson tied the game with a layup, 20-20. The rest of the half goes on with both teams battling point to point with a final halftime score of 32-31, Cougars leading the half.
Second Half
Yanguoa opened the half with a three-pointer for the Cougars, 35-31. Robinson and Willard both contributed a total of four points before the Eagles banked in a three-pointer. The Cougars maintained the lead for the rest of the half but continued to exchange points with the Eagles. The half finished with Robinson successfully making a free throw, leading by three. After hard fought battling, the Cougars took down the Eagles with a final score of 62-59.
