Milwaukee, Wis. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's soccer team followed their counterparts to Milwaukee, Wis. to face off against the Warriors of Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC). After a great battle, the Cougars would fall 2-0.
 
Inside the Box

• Goalkeeper Katelyn Wagner (Lagrange, Ky.) accomplished three saves, while Naomi Gonzales (Santa Rosa, Calif.) accomplished four saves.
• Mia Hirayama (Mililani, Hawaii) had one shot on goal.
• Cadence Hamby (Cumming, Ga.) and Natalie Flores (Placentia, Calif.) each had one shot.

 
First Half

• The Cougars started the half with Wagner collecting saves from the Warriors, as they came in strong with their attempted shots.
• In the 27th minute, the Warriors accomplished their first goal, sending the ball into the lower left side of the net, marking their arrival onto the scoreboard.
• The half was dominated by throw-ins; the Warriors headed into halftime in the lead 1-0, leaving the Cougars trailing.

 
Second Half

• The half began with a multitude of new players, hoping to turn things around for the Cougars.
• The Warriors took their second goal of the match, putting the ball into the lower left side of the net in the 69th minute, keeping the Warriors in the lead with 2-0.
• The Cougars went down by the end of the match, giving the Warriors a win 2-0.

 
What's Next
