Aurora, Ill. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) traveled to Aurora, Ill. to battle against the Spartans of Aurora University. The Cougars showed some promise early on, but their chances of success dwindled as the Spartans repeatedly scored, leaving the Cougars to fall 6-0.

First Half
- The Cougars demonstrated their offense early, attempted shots from Barrera and Leonardo Pedraza (Waukegan, Ill.), testing the Spartans' goalkeeper.
- The Spartans achieved a retaliatory victory against the Cougars in the 7th minute, putting the first goal onto the scoreboard; a Spartan sent the ball into the top left side of the net.
- The Spartans went on to score their second goal in the 18th minute, sending the ball into the top right side of the night, pushing the Cougars further back.
- The Cougars struggled with the Spartans' offense as they went on to score their third goal in the 25th minute, a deep shot into the middle of the night.
- The Cougars moved into halftime in a rut, down 0-3.

Second Half
- The half started out with a nice save from Zizak, along with other missed shots from the Spartans.
- The Spartans reacted to this with their first goal of the half, the ball flying straight into the bottom right side of the net in the 56th minute.
- The previous goal was followed up by yet another goal, the Spartans getting stronger as the match continued; the ball went into the lower left side of the net in the 61st minute, pushing the Cougars into a bigger deficit.
- The Spartans came back around with an additional goal into the lower left side of the net at the end of the 69th minute, the Cougars growing frustrated.
- The match came to a close, the Spartans stomping out the Cougars 6-0.
