The willpower of the Cougars carried on, so they followed closely. The teams became tied up with a score of 11-11, but that was easily broken by Hunt's defense at the net. The Scots slowly took the lead, but got tied up once again after a kill from Beatriz Goncalvez (Belo Horizonte, Brazil). This goes on to a Cougar lead of 19-18. The Scots and the Cougars battled and ultimately, the Cougars came out on top with a 25-21 lead, leaving this doubleheader with a 3-0 sweep.
