RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's soccer team hosted the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Raiders for another Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference (NACC) matchup. The Cougars struggled offensively and dropped the game 6-0.

Inside the Box
- Nethan Gudiel (Chicago, Ill.) and Chase Zizak (Muskegon, Mich.) split time in goal. Gudiel made seven saves in his 80 minutes of play while Zizak recorded two in his 10 minutes.
- Michael Senese (Naperville, Ill.) put the Cougars' lone shot of the day on frame.
Â
First Half
- From the whistle, MSOE proved they would be a threat, making their way downfield. Yet nice defensive vision to keep a high line by the Cougars caught the Raiders offside multiple times.
- The Raiders knocked on the door early, forcing Gudiel to make a save in the 12th minute. Just five minutes later, MSOE found a way through and took a 1-0 lead.
- The pressure from the Raiders never let up and Gudiel had to make another save in the 19th minute. However, their lead quickly doubled in the 22nd minute.
- CUC struggled to find a way forward and had to focus defensively on denying MSOE anymore goals. The Cougars, led by Gudiel, stood strong, breaking up MSOE's chances to keep the game close, 2-0, going into halftime.
Â
Second Half
- To begin the second half, Gudiel stayed sharp and dove down to stop the Raiders from adding to their lead in the 49th minute.
- The Cougars distributed the ball forward from the save and earned themselves a corner kick in the 50th minute. Bernardo Delgado (Morelia, Michoacán) curled the ball into the box for the Cougars. While the Raiders were able to get a head on it, they put it into the path of Senese, who took the opportunity with a laser kick, but was denied by MSOE's goalkeeper.
- The Raiders were able to come back at the Cougars and extend their lead to 3-0 in the 68th minute.
- CUC didn't give up and earned another corner kick in the 72nd minute, but nothing came of it.
- However, from then on, the Cougars stumbled in bringing the ball forward and MSOE was able to score three more times in the 77th, 78th, and 81st. CUC would fall 6-0 to the Raiders.
