How It Happened
First Quarter
The Cougars received the ball to start the game at their own ten-yard line. After starting with the ball, Bosch (Coopersville, Mich) rushed up the middle for a loss of three resulting in an offensive fumble at their own eight-yard line, recovered by SNC defense. SNC was able to answer quickly, with a touchdown gain of five yards up the middle. With CUC regaining possession, unable to pick up a first down, they would be forced to punt. As SNC gained yards up the field aided by multiple pass interferences from CUC on the drive, they would find the endzone and put the Cougars down 14-0 with five minutes remaining in the first quarter. After a brief delay of game due to lightning, the two teams took the field once again where SNC would take advantage of a struggling CUC offense and continue their momentum forcing countless offensive mistakes and increase the score 28-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Second Quarter
With the start of the second quarter, the Cougars were able to pick up momentum when Bosch immediately completed a deep pass for 38 yards to Martinus to advance to the Green Knight's 29-yard line. Moments later, Bosch completed another deep pass for 29 yards to Lawson that resulted in a touchdown and put the Cougars on the board at 28-7.
The momentum was able to continue toward the defensive line, creating less opportunities for SNC and resulting in a punt. CUC was able to continue their drive but with a bit of an offensive struggle, Bosch would suffer a sack on second down followed by an interception returned for a touchdown for SNC, racking up the score 35-7. CUC was able to respond quickly, Bosch found Randle twice, including a 45-yard reception to advance to SNC territory. By doing so, Bosch was able to complete a 14-yard reception to Martinus scoring a touchdown and bringing the Cougars closer to the gap with a score of 35-14. With the Cougars scoring, SNC would find the endzone one more time in the half and close the first 30 minutes of play with a score of 42-14.
Third Quarter
SNC opened the half with the ball, the defense were able to put the pieces together. This created a back-to-back ball possession until SNC created another opportunity and took advantage with a gain of 36 yards for a touchdown, extending their lead to 49-14. The Cougars were left trailing 49-14 to end the third quarter.
Fourth Quarter
Opening up the fourth quarter, SNC extended their lead with another touchdown, increasing the score 56-14. The Cougars were able to bounce back with Brown securing 13 yards and rushing for a 16-yard touchdown, with a total of 29 yards during the drive with an updated score of 56-21. SNC ended up adding on a field goal for their final scoring of the day. With a minute left on the clock,

Potosi, Mo.) finished off with a 25-yard touchdown, with the final score of 59-21 to end the game.
