DE PERE, Wis. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's track & field team competed in the final day of the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor track & field championships. The Cougars came out strong with a multitude of top performances. As a squad, the Cougars finished sixth of 11 teams with 37 points.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Eve Shelton (St. Louis, Mo.) took home gold in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.92. She also scored a point in the 200m, finishing eighth with a time of 27.00.
- Also in the 200m, Aniyah Isom (Chicago, Ill.) took seventh with a time of 26.82.
- Kirsten Bockhorst (Union, Mo.) secured bronze in the long jump with a personal best leap of 5.27m (17-3.50).
- Setting a personal record in the 400m hurdles, Tegan Oas (Shingle Springs, Calif.) ran a 1:10.87 to take fifth.
- With a time of 2:29.00, Izzy Fairless (Royal Oak, Mich.) finished sixth in the 800m.
- In the high jump, Harmonie Cooper (Chicago, Ill.) took eighth in the high jump with a mark of 1.47m (4-9.75).
COUGAR PERSONAL RECORDS
- Lydia Anderson (Carpentersville, Ill.) ran a time of 5:38.04 in the 1500m.
