JOLIET, Ill. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's track and field team competed in the final day of the Fighting Chance Invite hosted by the University of St. Francis, as a last push for a spot at the National Championships.
- In the long jump, Kirsten Bockhorst (Union, Mo.) led the Cougars with a leap of 5.22m (17-1.5) to take 12th. Just behind her in 14th was Aniyah Isom (Chicago, Ill.) with a mark of 5.17m (16-11.5). Noor Sammour (Berwyn, Ill.) and Ari Koepp (Belle Plaine, Minn.) also competed with marks of 4.31m (14-1.75) and 4.29m (14-1), respectively.
- Sammour and Koepp also competed in the triple jump, finished 13th and 14th, respectively, with marks of 9.95m (32-7.75) and 9.32m (30-7), respectively.
