ELMHURST, Ill. - The women's track & field team took to the track at the Elmhurst Invitational, hosted by Elmhurst University.
Notable Performances
- Noor Sammour (Berwyn, Ill.) and Harmonie Cooper (Chicago, Ill.) tied for sixth in the high jump. They both recorded a mark of 1.47m (4-9.75).
- Madalyn Smock (Poplar Grove, Ill.) finished 11th in the discus throw with a personal best mark of 30.29m (99-04). Smock also finished 13th in the hammer throw with a mark of 29.03m (95-03).
- Kirsten Bockhorst (Union, Mo.) took 11th in the long jump with a mark of 5.01m (16-5.25).
Cougar Personal Records
Velda Ndang (Plainfield, Ill.) set a personal best in the discus throw with a mark of 20.52m (67-04).
The Cougars will compete next week, May 2-3, at the Northern Athletic Collegiate College (NACC) Outdoor Championships, host by St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis.
