WAUWATOSA, Wis. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's track team competed in the Green & White Invitational today, hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College. The Cougars excelled, recording multiple top-five finishes.
Notable Performances
- Leading the Cougars was Izzy Fairless (Royal Oak, Mich.) with a second place finish in the 1500m, with a time of 5:13.22.
- In the 3000m Steeplechase, Ariel Martinez (Berwyn, Ill.) finished third with a time of 12:41.71.
- Aniyah Isom (Chicago, Ill.) also took bronze, recording a leap of 5.17m (16-11.5) in the long jump.
- Two Cougars placed in the top five of the triple jump. Noor Sammour (Berwyn, Ill.) took fourth with a mark of 9.72m (31-10.75), while Ari Koepp (Belle Plaine, Minn.) finished fifth with a mark of 8.71m (28-7).
- Tegan Oas (Shingle Springs, Calif.) finished fourth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:12.80.
- Also taking fourth was Harmonie Cooper (Chicago, Ill.), recording a mark of 1.48m (4-10.25) in the high jump.
- In the 100m hurdles, Jerzey Allen (Bevier, Mo.) finished fifth with a time of 16.36.
Cougar Personal Records
- Grace King (Fairland, Ind.) ran a PR of 2:56.49, while Abbigail Placido ran a PR of 3:27.18Â in the 800m.
- Sammour set a personal best of 30.88 in the 200m.
- In the 1500m, Addi McKee ran a 6:00.19.
- With a mark of 30.42m (99-10), Madalyn Smock (Poplar Grove, Ill.) set a personal record in the hammer throw.

The Cougars are back in action next week with two meets. They will compete at the Elmhurst Twilight Invitational, hosted by Elmhurst University on Friday April 25.
