RIVER FOREST, ILL. -- After throwing her first career no hitter, Ashley Shroll (Tampa, Fla.) picked up Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Pitcher of the Week accolades. 

Shroll pitched 11 total innings for the Cougars this week, including her first career no hitter. In the win over Concordia-Moorhead, Shroll pitched seven innings with two strikeouts in the 21 batters she faced. Shroll boasts a 2.55 ERA on the week as the number one arm for CUC. Shroll collected four total strikeouts on the week. 

The Cougars went 4-4 on their season opener spring break trip in Florida with wins over Mount Mary University, Houghton University, Concordia-Moorhead, and Rivier University. The Cougars will be back in action on March 18th as they play a non-conference double-header against Wheaton College for their home opener.
