NAPERVILLE, ILL. - The Concordia University Chicago women's track and field team took to the track and field at the Chicagoland Indoor Championship hosted by North Central College, where a few top ten finishes and some new PRs took effect.
NOTABLE FINISHES
- Ariel Martinez (Berwyn, Ill.) placed sixth int he 1000m with a new personal best time of 3:28.22.
- Eve Shelton (St. Louis, Mo.) placed eighth in the 60m hurdle prelims with a time of 9.38 before improving that time in the finals with a time of 9.33.
COUGAR PERSONAL RECORDS
- Keren Llort (Cicero, Ill.) picked up a new personal best in the 60m with a time of 8.73, besting her previous by more than a tenth of a second.
- Hannah Holmes (Rockford, Ill.) bested her 400m time by nearly two seconds with a new PR of 1:09.40.
- Ari Koepp (Belle Plaine, Minn.) picked up a season best in the long jump with a distance of 4.26m.
