River Forest, Ill. - Concordia Women's Tennis is back. Looking to start their season off strong, the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's tennis team took on the MSOE Raiders for their first games of the 2024 season. The Cougars fought hard but the day ended with a 5-2 loss for the Cougars.

Jessica Parker (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) and Demi Presto-Martin (Brookfield, Ill.) were the first Cougar pairing to compete on the court in the doubles sets. After a hard-fought battle, the duo won their match with a final score of 6-2.

Kamila Giza (East Dundee, Ill.) and Mary Curtis (Worden, Ill.) were the second Cougar pairing to compete on the court in the doubles sets. The Cougar duo was able to come out victorious with a final score of 6-3.
Singles

The lone Cougar to score in her singles match was Martin, with scores of 7-6 and 7-5, both in favor of Martin.
