River Forest, Ill.—With rain in the forecast, NACC (Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference) action continued. The Concordia University Chicago Cougars(0-6, 0-2) welcomed Milwaukee School Of Engineering (5-4, 1-1) to Cougar Stadium. With a tough battle against the chilly rainy day, the Cougars fell 26-0.
Inside The Box Score:
-
Peter Borkowski (St. Louis, Mo) picked up 21 saves on the day.
-
Henry Hayes (Oconomowoc, Wis.) totaled three shots on goal and
Seba Miller (Cherry Hill, N.J.) added one shot of his own.
How It Went Down:
The Raiders got to work right away and continued to penetrate on the offensive end. In the first half, Miller saw an opening on the net and launched a shot but the Raiders goalie stopped the ball in its tracks. Hayes also saw many openings and made long hauls coast to coast but unfortunately was unable to lure the back on the net.
In the second half, many Cougars found themselves in unique positions. Two different goalies saw some action in between the pipes.
Alan Saban (St Charles, Ill.) and
Brady Dennis (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) gained some valuable time and grabbed six saves each.
The Raiders continued to dominate on the offensive end and no Cougars were able to successfully find the net resulting in a 26-0 deficit.
The Cougars will be back at Cougar Stadium on Saturday, April 6th at 11 am as Benedictine University travels over. Coverage for all things men's lacrosse can be found at cuccougars.com and on Instagram and X @cuchicagolax
