JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – Four members of the Concordia University Chicago track and field team competed on day two of the East Coast Relays hosted by University of North Florida.
- Gabrielle Harding (Rochelle, IL) placed 15th in discus with a distance of 37.63m. This was the highest Division III placement at the meet.
- Mauricio Xochitecatl (Carol Stream, IL) placed 57th of 90 in the 800m with a time of 2:01.58. Xochitecatl fell just short of his previous personal record, set at last year's North Florida Collegiate Invitational.
- Miguel Sanchez (San Antonio, Texas) placed 55th of 87 in the 400m with a time of 50.75, falling short of his previous personal best set earlier this month at the Chicagoland Championship.
- Henry Jones IV (Atlanta, Ga.) placed 87th of 132 in the 100m with a time of 11.17. This time falls just shy of his previous personal best set a week ago at the Green and White Invite.
These four Cougars will come back to Illinois and rejoin the rest of the team to take on Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships on Friday, May 3
