BOURBONNAIS, ILL. --- Heading heavily into the outdoor season, the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) track and field team competed in the ONU Tiger Open. On the men's side, a handful of Cougars were able to record new personal records.

New Cougar Personal Records
- Three Cougars picked up new PRs in the 200m: Knight with a time of 22.41 seconds, Jones with a time of 22.72 seconds, and Matthew Cardwell (Cincinnati, Ohio) with a time of 23.66 seconds
- Gael Arroyo (Cicero, Ill.) snagged a new PR in the 1500m with a time of 4:32.18
- In his 400m hurdle debut, Randy Contreras (San Antonio, Texas) ran a time of 1:11.83
- Travon Thomas picked up two new distances on the day; A 9.55m throw in the shot put and a 29.32m throw in the discus
- Joining him in a discus PR was CJ Morris with a mark of 27.80m
