KENOSHA, WIS. — In a trip up north, the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's track and field team traveled to Carthage College to compete in the Tadd Metzger Invitational. In this meet, multiple Cougars had high finishes and personal records, finishing fifth as a team out of nine teams.

In a huge performance, Tegan Oas (Shingle Springs, Calif.) finished first overall in the 600-meter with a new PR time of 1:49.24

Also snagging a first place finish was Eve Shelton (St. Louis, Mo.) with a new PR time in the 55-meter hurdles at 8.68 seconds. She also finished in second place in the 200-meter

In the 1000-meter, Ariel Martinez (Berwyn, Ill.) picked up a third place finish with a new time of 3:31.48. Just behind her was Izzy Fairless (Royal Oak, Mich.) with a fourth place finish with a new time of 3:37.48. In sixth place was Lydia Anderson (Carpentersville, Ill.) with another PR of 3:49.93

In the high jump, Noor Sammour (Berwyn, Ill.) finished in fourth place, with Jamie Seibert (Arlington Heights, Ill.) right behind her with a fifth place finish

Aniyah Isom (Chicago, Ill.) had a fifth place finish in the 200-meter. Also finishing well on the day was Madison Hipshire (Riverview, Mich.), with a sixth place finish in the 55-meter hurdles and a new PR of 9.75 seconds

Hipshire had an additional PR in the 200-meter with a time of 29.63 seconds. Also picking up a PR in this event was Ariel Easterwood (St. Louis, Mo.) with a time of 31.38 seconds

Having two new times in this meet was Breanna Walters (Poplar Grove, Ill.), with a 2:05.22 in the 600-meter and a 6:13.69 in the mile

In the mile, Fairless grabbed a new time of 5:59.76 and Anderson did as well at 6:12.66

Keren Llort (Cicero, Ill.) had two new PRs on the day, in the 55-meter with a time of 8.33 seconds and in the 200-meter with a time of 31.11 seconds

In triple jump, Ari Koepp (Belle Plaine, Minn.) made a new mark for herself at 9.19 meters
