Geneva, Ill. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) Cougars women's cross country team traveled to Geneva to compete in the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference (NACC) Cross Country Conference Championships. The team raced well and finished 7th out of 13 teams.

Top Finishers
Ariel Martinez (Berwyn, Ill.) was the first runner to cross the finish line for the Cougars. She finished with a time of 25:43.14.Â
Finishing shortly after her teammate, Tegan Oas (Shingle Springs, Calif.) finished 2nd for the Cougars with a time of 26:59.80.
Third for the Cougars, with a time of 27.30.2, was Lydia Anderson (Carpentersville, Ill.).Â
With a time of 28:15.32, Sarah Redhage (Lowden, Iowa) crossed the finish line fourth for the team.
The fifth finisher for the Cougars, 21-seconds behind her teammate, was Breanna Walters (Poplar Grove, Ill.) with a time of 28:36.34.

PR Party
Ciara Parsons (Whitmore Lake, Mich.) ran in a time of 30:23.20, which was a new PR for the freshman.
The second PR of the day came from Abbigail Placido (Geneva, Ill.) who finished with a time of 36:33.70.
