CUC Runs at Gil Dodds Invite

WHEATON, Ill. – After a week off, the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's cross country team competed at the Gil Dodds Invitational, hosted by Wheaton College. The Cougars gave their all and finished 13th of 15 teams.
 
The RUN-Down
Danielle Giovenco (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) was first over the line for the Cougars in a time of 26:13.1. Following Giovenco was Lydia Becker (Valparaiso, Ind.), who ran 27:17.7. Rose Losey (Royal Oak, Mich.) and Sarah Redhage (Lowden, Iowa) came in together, with just 0.3 seconds separating them. Losey recorded a time of 27.34.5 while Redhage came in 27:34.8. The fifth Cougar to reach the finish line was Addi McKee (Knoxville, III.). McKee set a new personal best of 29:12.3 in the 6k.
 
What's Next
