LISLE, ILL. — Traveling just outside the city to take on a Northern Athletics Collegiate College (NACC) opponent, the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's basketball team was able to pick up a road win. Battling the Eagles from Benedictine University, the Cougars made a dominating victory with a final score of 93-78.

The lone Cougar to cross 20-plus points was Justin Greenlee (Brown Deer, Wis.) with 21 points, also tacking on three assists and one steal

Using his speed on the court, Jacob Collicott (Lafayette, Ind.) had a career-high six steals with 13 points to add

Emanuel Wilson (Wheaton, Ill.) was the second-highest scorer of the night with 15 points, followed by Collicott and Brent Hatten (Olney, Ill.) with 13 of their own.
First Half
The Cougars would strike first to start off the first half of play, with threes from Hatten and Jordan Matthews (Chicago, Ill.) 6-0. Greenlee began to have a run, as he scored the next three buckets himself 11-2. Joining him was Collicott, who used his speed to pick up a steal and then make two driving layups 15-4.
CUC would break the score even more, with jumpers from Greenlee and Wilson, then a three from Hatten 24-8. Benedictine began to chip away, with Wilson continuing his stride 28-14. Sean Beckman (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) and Wilson would trade off points to help keep the Eagles away at 35- 20.
William Bishop-Green (Chicago, Ill.) threw down a huge dunk, then hit a three, to break 40 points for the Cougars. Greenlee picked up back-to-back jumpers before a Collicott three 49-29. As the Eagles tried to find a hole in the Cougar defense, Carter Langendorf (Aurora, Ill.) drew a foul and made both his free throws 55-31. This would be the score as they crossed into halftime.
Second Half
Benedictine began trading off points with CUC to start the second half, bringing the score to 62-39 Cougars. Hatten pushed through the paint for a layup, then Greenlee draws a foul to make the score 66-44. A couple more Cougar free throws would go in, before Bishop-Green slammed down his second dunk of the night 71-55. Joining the offensive prowess was Joel Watts (Homewood, Ill.) and Darrian Williams (Garland, Texas), keeping the Cougars in front 75-58.
The Cougars continued to make progress through their free throws, then Hatten picked up back-to-back buckets 86-71. The Eagles would continue to try and break down the Cougars and find their openings to score.
Coming further into the second half, both teams were capitalizing on their offensive opportunities. Greenlee, Matthews, and Collicott took the next three possessions to add to their lead 93-78. The Cougars would win this match-up with a final score of 93-78.
