River Forest, Ill. --- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's tennis team (1-10) hosted the Edgewood College Eagles (5-4), in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) match Saturday morning. While the Cougars showed great spirit and fight, the Eagles were too much to handle, as CUC lost 9-0.

Doubles team
Alexa Hoover (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and
Ella Seebach (Rochelle, Ill.) lost their match 8-1 against Callie Beischner and Madelyn Connaughty.
Jessica Parker (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) andÂ
Ali Wingood (Chicago, Ill.), and
Heidi Hesse (La Crau, France) and
Kamila Giza (East Dundee, Ill.) dropped their Doubles matches as well.

In Singles, CUC found their grove, but couldn't generate anything significant from it. Wingood played a close match to Jewell Lindwall, losing 6-3 / 6-3. Parker was the other Cougar who kept it close, but lost 6-2 / 6-2 in her pairing.
