MILWAUKEE, WIS. — The Concordia University Chicago men's soccer team traveled to the Milwaukee School of Engineering for a 1 p.m. start. Despite some shots towards the opposing team, the Cougars fell in this match 3-1 to the Raiders.

• Oladapo Osinaike (Round Lake, Ill.) snagged his first goal of the season

• Nicholas Pasut (New Boston, Mich.) was able to stop the Raiders with six saves

The Raiders came out firing in this game as they immediately shot off towards the Cougar goal. In the 8th minute, Alexander Lechowicz (Chicago, Ill.) attacked for the first offensive firing of the game. In the 21st minute of play, the Raiders scored first off a couple of assists and took the lead with a 1-0 score. Andres Marin (Chicago, Ill.) got in one additional shot before the game broke off for halftime.

Moving into the second half, CUC needed to find some traction. Oscar Montejano (Zion, Ill.) was the first Cougar to get set on goal, but was ultimately stopped by the Raiders goalie. Another shot was made by Elias De Santiago (Chicago, Ill.) in the 67th minute, but was off the top crossbar. The Raiders were able to produce another goal and go up 2-0. The Cougars responded immediately with a goal from Osinake for his first of the season.

Ultimately, the Raiders went on to score an additional goal, making it 3-1. This concludes the game with a 3-1 loss for the Cougars.
