Rockford, Ill. -- For their second road game in a row, the Concordia University Chicago women's basketball team headed to Rockford University where they fell 66-55. This loss bumps Concordia-Chicago to 6-9 overall and 5-5 in the NACC while Rockford improves to 9-8 overall and 5-6 in the NACC.

Freshman Alisyn MacGregor (Loves Park, Ill.) grabbed another double double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Sydney Lloyd (Grand Forks, N.D.) added 9 points while Sarah Ludwig (Roselle, Ill.) added eight points.
An early Regent lead forced CUC to take a timeout after remaining scoreless for the first four minutes. A Jaylene Wade (Lansing, Ill.) three put the Cougars on the board midway through the first quarter. A bucket from Bailey Steinkamp (Cary, Ill.) combined with a three from Ludwig tied the score at eight apiece. The Regents pushed forward, taking the lead 17-10 after the first 10 minutes of play.
As Rockford ran away early in the second quarter, the Cougars fought back, cutting the lead to three after a pair of free throws from MacGregor and a three point play from Ludwig. A big run from the Regents closed the half with a score of 35-21.
Unable to penetrate the defense, the Cougars were forced to rely on their shooting abilities, resulting in a mere 16 points in the paint on the night. With the Regents out rebounding them 53-36, the Cougars couldn't keep pace, ultimately falling 66-50.
