First NACC contest leads to loss for women's volleyball

The Concordia University Chicago women's volleyball team lost 3-0 to Aurora University.

Aurora, Ill. The Concordia University Chicago women's volleyball team hit the road for their first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match of the year as they took on the Aurora University Spartans. After three sets, the Cougars found themselves with their first NACC loss.

Although the final score of the three sets were in favor of the Spartans, there was much for CUC to be proud of throughout the match. During the first set, the Cougars were within four of winning, however, Aurora grabbed key kills to close out the set 25-21. The second set told a similar story as the two teams battled for each point. Concordia attempted to grab the lead, but it ultimately resulted in a 25-23 win for Aurora. From there, the Cougars dropped the third and final set with a score of 25-11.
