Henline, Vernengo finish with double-doubles in loss to Cardinals

The Concordia University Chicago women's volleyball team lost 2-3 to North Central College.

Naperville, Ill. – The Concordia University Chicago women's volleyball team opened up the 2021 season today, Sept. 1, as they traveled to the North Central College Cardinals. Following the five-set match, the Cardinals were the ones on top as the Cougars lost 2-3.

This was the first contest of the year for CUC and North Central, and both teams came out swinging. The Cougars led the night on aces (7), blocks (12) and points (70.0) while the Cardinals barely slid past Concordia in assists, kills and digs.
