Four Cougars score in conference matchup against Falcons

The Concordia University Chicago men's lacrosse team lost 21-4 to Concordia University-Wisconsin

Friday, April 9, saw another bright start for the Concordia University Chicago men's lacrosse team (2-7) at home in River Forest when sophomore midfielder Chadd Rowe (Atlanta, Ga.) gave the Cougars the lead just over four minutes into the game against Concordia University Wisconsin (4-5).

Unfortunately, the game quickly turned in the Falcons' favor as they scored the next 12 goals and went on to win 21-4.

Freshman midfielder Jacob Schnepf (Baltimore, Md.), senior attacker Ben Lang (West Dundee, Ill.) and sophomore attacker Jarred Tabor (Crystal Lake, Ill.) also scored to round out the scoring for the Cougars today. Along with a goal, Rowe finished with one assist while sophomore Dylan Mordhorst (Centreville, Va.) notched a team-high two assists.

Jack Liskey was again a commanding presence in the Cougars' net despite the score, making 26 saves to bring his career total to 633.

The Cougars will play their third straight home game Tuesday, April 13, when they take on the Illinois Institute of Technology Scarlet Hawks at 1 p.m.
