A perfect afternoon for lacrosse got off to a perfect start for the Concordia University Chicago men's lacrosse team (1-5), but the game turned in the favor of the visiting Benedictine University Eagles (6-2), who emerged from Concordia Stadium with a 22-5 victory.
Freshman midfielder Clayton Emery (Fishers, Ind.) gave the Cougars an early lead just 40 seconds into the game with his sixth goal of the season. He would later add his seventh in the game's final minute for the team's fifth goal.
