Cougars Fall To Edgewood

RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Looking to kick off a busy week on the right foot, the Concordia University Chicago Women's Basketball team welcomed the Edgewood College Eagles to Geiseman Gymnasium for a matchup on Tuesday night. Edgewood would use a big third quarter to open up a double digit lead to down CUC by a 73-59 final score.
 
Turning Point
  • CUC trailed by eight at the half, and kept things close in the early part of the third. Edgewood went on a 8-0 run to end the quarter and open up a double-digit lead for good.
 
Inside the Box Score
  • Bailey Steinkamp led the way with 16 points on 6-10 shooting.
  • Macy Klein scored the first five points of her career tonight.
  • CUC shot 21-63 on the night and knocked down seven threes.
