RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- Looking to grab their first win in NACC play and earn their most wins in a season since 2015, the Concordia-Chicago men's soccer team will welcome rivals CUW to Concordia Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Last Time Out... After a 2-0 week last week, the Cougars struggled in their conference opener to Aurora on Wednesday. Scoring a pair of goals in each half, and holding CUC to just four shots in the match, Aurora managed to pull off the 4-0 victory. Despite the loss, senior keeper Jose Retana reached a new career-high with 15 saves in the contest.

Scouting the Falcons... Predicted to finish fifth overall in the 2019 NACC preseason standings, Concordia Wisconsin is 7-1 through their first eight contests. Having only lost to St. Norbert's, the Falcons are 1-0 in conference play thanks to a 6-1 win against Rockford on Wednesday night. CUW is averaging 3.50 goals per game, while allowing just 0.63. Jackson Dryden leads his Falcon squad offensively with six goals and three assists, while Nate Yeager leads the defense with just four goals allowed in 555 minutes of play. 

Medina Means Business... Already matching his total goals from last season, junior Gerardo Medina is off to a hot start and leads the Cougars with three goals this season and one assist. An integral piece in CUC's 2-0 week last week, Medina tabbed two goals, including the overtime golden goal against Andrews University. Last Saturday, Medina netted the second goal to solidify CUC's 2-0 win over Northland College. 

No Shot... Senior keeper Jose Retana has tallied 45 saves already this season. With his total saves, he ranks first among the NACC's goalkeepers and 49th among national rankings.
