MEQUON, Wis. -- With a difficult task in taking on the #1 team in the Midwest Lacrosse conference, the Concordia-Chicago men's lacrosse team fought hard but ultimately fell 18-2 to school rival, Concordia Wisconsin.

- Hunter Combe and Tate Macfarlance were CUC's lone goal scorers on the day.
- Senior Brian Harris tallied his third point of the season, assisting on Combe's goal.
- In a dominant display, CUW out shot the Cougars 57-17.
The Falcons started off the day with six goals in the opening 15-minute frame. Heading into the second quarter, CUW slowed up as they tacked on just three more before Harris and Combe would connect to put CUC on the scoreboard.
As the Cougars came out of the halftime break down 9-1, Macfarlance continued with CUC's momentum and netted his 13th goal of the season.
Despite the short surge from Concordia-Chicago, CUW closed out the game with an unanswered nine-goal tear.Â
In net,
Jack Liskey worked hard all day, coming up with 16 saves by the end of the match.
CUC will finally return home this Wednesday to kick off their four-game homestand and take on the Raiders of MSOE. Face off is slated for a 2:30 p.m. start time.Â
