RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- After taking on the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference, the Concordia-Chicago men's lacrosse team fell to MSOE 21-1.
While the game started off a tight-race, CUC's defense held off MSOE's scoring for nearly eight minutes in the first quarter. However from there, the Raiders put their foot on the gas, going up 10-0 by the end of the first half.Â
Heading into the second, the visitors tacked on three more goals before
Jordan Loeffler found
Hunter Combe on the far side of the field, as Combe was able to net his second goal in as many games.
Despite the Cougar response, the Raiders marched on with eight more goals to complete the dominant victory over CUC.
Jack Liskey finished with 18 saves today, marking his eighth-straight game with double-digit saves.
CUC will return to the field this weekend to take on the Beloit Bucs in continued MLC action. Face off is slated for a 1 p.m. start time.Â
