Mequon, WI.- Concordia-Chicago (4-2; 3-1 MWLC) traveled to face off against Concordia-Wisconsin (1-5; 1-1 MWLC) in a big-time rivalry game. CUC took control early, but CUW would march back and force the Cougars to make a late comeback. Although the game was forced into overtime, Concordia-Chicago could not overcome the CUW attack and would later lose 10-9.

Anna Kellar scored three of her four goals in the last ten minutes to propel the Cougar comeback.
•   CUC led the shot battle 28-24 but lost in shots on goal 15-19.
•   Sydney fuller dished out two assists in the match, both coming in crucial times.Â
CUC was the first team to light up the scoreboard after scoring two goals coming from Kellar and Fuller. Three other goals would be scored, one of which came from  Doane, and after one half the Cougars were in control 5-4.Â

Despite early command of the game, CUC could not find an answer for the Falcons offense and dug themselves a hole with a score of 9-5. Slowly but surely, Concordia-Chicago fought their way back. They spread out four goals in a time-span of ten minutes, and capped off their run with a clutch Kellar goal to send the game into overtime.Â

In overtime, CUW did not waste much time and scored on the first touch. The final score ended at 10-9 but it did not devalue the Cougars' comeback.Â
Concordia-Chicago will look ahead to Illinois Institute of Technology on Tuesday, March 26th at 4:00 p.m.
