MADISON, WIS. – After enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday, the Concordia University Chicago Women's Basketball team returned to action today against NACC leading Edgewood. CUC hung close early on, but the Edgewood offense got rolling to down the Cougars by a 78-49 final score.

The Cougars pulled within three on a
Michaela Thornton jumper to close the first quarter, but the Eagles answered by outscoring CUC 22-4 in the second quarter.
